Taylor and Sarah

Founders of Appalachian Wedding Company

Our story began with love for the Smokies and a passion for weddings. Taylor, an ordained minister, found his calling officiating ceremonies amidst the serene beauty of Gatlinburg. Sarah, with a deep connection to the local wedding industry thanks to her father's chapel, craved to make wedding dreams a reality. Follow this link to get pre-registered and pick it up today! Please note that the marriage license is only valid for 30 days, so we recommend not obtaining it too far in advance of your wedding day.

Rings are not mandatory for your ceremony with us. We understand that every couple is unique, and we will tailor your ceremony to your preferences. However, if you want rings, we recommend checking out Myrick’s Jewelry in downtown Gatlinburg. They offer a wide selection of exquisite rings for you and your loved one.

In Sevier County, Tennessee, witnesses are not required, so you can have a ceremony without any witnesses present. Whether you declare your love in front of 1 guest or 150, Appalachian Wedding Company will ensure your ceremony fits all legal requirements of the county.

We have a wide variety of venues for your party size! Forest Pavilion can accommodate up to 24 guests, bridal party included.
